Our Constitution

The Constitution of the Indiana Association for the Gifted establishes the organization’s foundational purposes, guiding principles, and structure. It outlines IAG's commitment to supporting high ability education in Indiana and defines a framework under which the organization operates. 

The Constitution set forth IAG's mission, membership parameters, governance model, and the role and responsibilities that guide decision-making. It serves as the governing document that ensures continuity, accountability, and alignment with IAG's purpose over time. 

Together with IAG bylaws and policies, the Constitution helps ensure that the organization operates in a transparent, responsible, and mission-driven manner. 

The IAG Constitution was ratified by a vote of the membership on December 16, 2025.
