At IAG, advocacy focuses on sharing information, elevating educators and families’ perspectives, and supporting informed decision-making related to high ability education. Our advocacy work is grounded in research, classroom experience, and an understanding of Indiana’s education landscape.
IAG does not endorse political candidates or engage in partisan activity. Our role is to serve as a resource and facilitator, helping stakeholders better understand issues affecting high ability students.
IAG engages in advocacy by:

Facilitating dialogue among educators, families, and education leaders

During the Indiana legislative session, IAG provides members with regular updates summarizing relevant developments related to high ability education. These updates are intended to inform and help members stay aware of issues that may affect students and schools.
