Information for IAG 2025 Registrants

2025 IAG Conference

When: December 15th & 16th
Where: 10 S West St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 / Indianapolis JW Marriott

The countdown is on to the 2025 Indiana Association for the Gifted Conference. We welcome you to two full days of learning, development, professional networking, and fun! As you prepare to attend, please review the following items!

  • This year, our conference will be held on the 3rd floor of the hotel. When you arrive, please come to the registration desk at the top of the escalator on the third floor to pick up your conference credential. For the safety and security of all conference attendees, conference credentials must be worn at all times when attending conference sessions, visiting the vendor area, or attending conference related events.

  • If you are not staying in the hotel and plan to commute during the morning, please plan to arrive early.  We encourage all guests to arrive between 7:00-7:30 AM to allow time to pick up your conference credentials, visit our vendor area, and find a seat in the Grand Ballroom for the Keynote and Welcome Session. Complimentary coffee and tea will be available in the vendor area.

  • This year, we will use Whova for our conference app. If you have not downloaded the app, please do so as soon as possible and sign in using the same email address that you used on your registration form. You should have also received multiple emails from Whova about signing into the app. The Whova app will allow you to build an agenda of sessions that you plan to attend and communicate with other attendees. To build your own agenda, tap on Agenda at the bottom and view the full schedule. Tap on "Add to Agenda" to the right of each session you would like to add to your personal agenda. You can also tap on "Tracks & filters" at the top to see the sessions filtered by topic or intended audience or to search by speaker or keyword. Feel free to use the discussion boards within the app to become more connected to the conference experience.

  • If you are staying in the hotel Sunday night or if you happen to be downtown, our registration table will be open from 5:30-7:00 PM Sunday evening on the third floor of the hotel near the top of the escalator. Registration on Monday morning will be busy, so it is a great idea to check in on Sunday night!

  • IAG will send an evaluation form to all registrants. Upon completion of the evaluation, registrants will receive a document for PGP points.

  • The password for conference wifi will be printed on your credentials. Please note that if you are using a school-issued Chromebook, you may have trouble connecting to the hotel wifi. Personal Macs, PCs, and phones will connect without an issue.

  • Limited parking is available at the JW Marriott. (Current self-park rate is $59 per day. Valet is $80 per day.) Conference registrants will receive a 20% discount when using the self-park. If you booked your hotel room through the IAG room block and charged your parking to your hotel room, the discount will automatically be applied. If you are not staying at the hotel, park near the blue elevators and proceed up to the third floor. After visiting the Registration desk, stop by the IAG Advocacy booth to pick up a parking sticker. You must attach the parking sticker to your parking ticket in order to receive the discount. We expect high attendance this year. If you are driving in for the day, please arrive early and make a plan for parking. Click on the following link to check other parking prices downtown. The White River State Parking Garage (650 W Washington), which is across the street from the JW Marriott, will be open even though the Indiana State Museum will be closed.

  • There will complimentary coffee and tea in the exhibitor area each morning.  For those of you who prefer Starbucks, there is a location on the second floor, and they now accept mobile orders.

  • If you only registered for one day of the conference, please review your invoice to confirm if you are registered for Monday or Tuesday.
