Shared Information Services
SIS is a unique service providing materials about giftedness and gifted education to residents throughout Indiana. Parents and teachers of gifted children, as well as the children themselves, can find materials that are both useful and interesting. Indiana is the only state in the union to have such a service. SIS will send materials free of charge. The only cost to the user is the return postage for items that have been checked out.
Gifted Education Resource Institute (GERI) of Purdue University
GERI at Purdue University offers Saturday and summer enrichment programs for gifted and talented children. The GERI Guidance Center also offers provides counseling services for gifted and talented students and their families.

Ball State University Center for Gifted Studies and Talent Development
Its mission is to "identify, promote, and develop giftedness; conduct research for the purposes of improving programs for, and creating a better understanding of, the needs of gifted and talented individuals; provide professional development programs for all who work with gifted and talented individuals; and make information about all aspects of the gifted and talented more accessible."
Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development
Founded in 1981, the Center hosts the Midwest Talent Search, holds gifted conferences, provides Super Saturday classes and summer classes for gifted children, and much more. They say, "We have helped countless students find appropriate courses and opportunities and reach new levels in their areas of aptitude. Through conferences, publications (including the center's magazine Talent Development), and our connections with other organizations, we are able to inform families and educators about our programs and opportunities specially designed for talented learners."
